Students from Arts & College Preparatory Academy created a documentary about the independent music scene in Columbus in the 1980s.
Students created a documentary about the independent music scene in Columbus in the 1980s. Students explored the music scene of Columbus, specifically the punk scene by interviewing a variety of Columbus residents who played a role in its development. The students created a documentary that featured these interviews along with concert and music clips. They also included copies of a Fanzine created by a local musician in 1982 to further illustrate their research. Copies of the documentary can be found in their school library as well as the Columbus public library and independent record stores.
