Students from Centennial High School researched and developed the text for a historic marker commemorating Hanford Village in Columbus.
Students researched and developed the text for a historic marker commemorating the area of Columbus known as Hanford Village. Students summarized the history of the community and its division due to the construction of I-70 in the 1970s. With partnership from the community the marker was installed for all to see. The students also compiled a collection of oral histories that were gathered while researching and interviewing subjects for this project.
