Students from East Technical High School created a documentary featuring Jesse Owens.
Students created a documentary featuring Jesse Owens and how he overcame various hardships to become a success. Jesse Owens moved with his family from Alabama to Cleveland as a child and attended East Technical High School. The students used information gained through the Cleveland Public Library, the Western Reserve Historical Society and professors from Kenyon College to create their documentary. The students also completed the paperwork to have the street next to the school re-named Jesse Owens Blvd.
