Congressional Academy Projects
Participants in the Congressional Academy project are tasked with the creation, development and implementation of something that will be of lasting value to their community. So far, most of our schools have decided on their projects, and here is a peek at what each of them will be working on.

Firestone High School is focusing on the development of local African-American owned businesses in Akron.
Hudson High School is developing a walking tour of stops on the underground railroad in Hudson.
Marion-Franklin High School is working on an oral history collection of prominent people from the local neighborhood who helped shape the community.
Riverbirch Academy is working on oral history and a walking tour of downtown Canton.
Vinton County High School is planning a documentary and virtual map tour of the history of Vinton County.
Fort Loramie High School is developing a history of Fort Loramie schools in the form of a book and later a documentary.
